Making Your Wedding A Personal and Memorable One!

Jun17

Not only is a perfect wedding beautiful, but it is also personal. A perfect wedding is supposed to have you and your fiancés personality together.

Below is a list of effortless methods to add to your wedding touches for your ceremony and reception:

  • A good idea would be to write your own vows – this does not mean you are required to write a spectacular piece of poetry, but something that comes from the heart.
  • Burn a CD with a bunch of songs that symbolize your relationship or how it at least evolved. You could place this at your wedding party or even distribute them to your guest as a souvenir – of course place a piece of paper explaining why you chose those songs.
  • Instead of throwing your bouquet into the crowd of hungry women, present it to your mother or an extremely close female companion.
  • Instead of hiring maybe a wedding officiant Oshawa or a photographer, consider talking to friends or family to see if they have anyone in mind.
  • Instead of placing the usual flower vase in the middle of the table, consider placing pens and paper in a nice laid out basket. This will allow your guests to write their wishes, prayers and guidance for you personally and your fiancé – in the end you can compile them into an album.
  • Instead of having close friends and family give speeches, consider producing a video of you and your fiancé talking about each individual – mention close friends who have shown genuine loyalty, or family members that have given many sacrifices for you. You could even collate the video with their photos – this will really show that you are thankful to them all.
  • Also another good idea is use a family member’s heirloom or even prepare an audio-visual presentation of the two of you as a child.
  • If you have children, make them feel a part of the new family, asking them to stand beside you when you say your vows.
  • Add small things that say one thing about your relationship.

All in all this is your wedding day and of course it will be a memorable one to the two of you, but why not make it memorable to your guests also?
